Peter said this 2,000 years ago. 'For the time
[has arrived] for judgment to begin with the household of God; and if it begins with us, what will [be] the end of those who
do not respect or believe or obey the good news (the Gospel) of God?"
If
you put it back it context, it is referring to ungodly men judging saved men...he was talking about persecution judgment for
being followers of Christ.
This scripture is used by the enemy to accuse God
of horrible judgment in the age of grace. I have heard so many people quote this like God is beginning to judge His church
"NOW."It was written 2000 year ago as "NOW" in Peter's time....it is not what people have been taught.
As a man thinks, so he is. So powerful! Guard your mind!
If you expect
and believe that God is in judgment of You, HIS beloved Bride, the enemy will be more than happy to make it look that way
and accommodate your thinking. You will get what you have faith in.
God is good,
He is merciful, He is LOVE. There WILL be a day of wrath, a day of judgment...absolutely. This is not that day.
So what IS happening? We are in the last day(s)...not THE day of wrath. The birthpains have begun. The earth is under
the curse and is now moaning and groaning under the weight of sin...men are judging men...Christians are judging each other...The
BIble does not say this is FROM God. Just because something is written in the Bible as in it was recorded, does not mean the
statement is a true statement, or that God is the one sending things upon us.All the sciptures are inspiried , yes. That does
not mean they were ALL true statements. Satans words are recorded...they were lies. King Solomon said some pretty dark stuff,
they were his feelings at the time. Jesus said,"offenses will come." He did not say that it was good to have offenses,or
that HE was behind them. Jesus said , "the birthpains will come"...HE was speaking a prophetic true statement. It
does not say they are part of the judgment Our Lord is bringing.
The earth is
in labor, bringing forth the Sons and Daughters in His awesome Glory like the world has never seen! God brings forth His Greatness
in times of sorrow, over and over again in His Word. HE overcame so we could be hidden in His victory.
The enemy is seeking whom he may devour big time! If he can get God's people to believe incorrectly about Our Lord,
he can cause us to be double minded. We will sway our opinion and beliefs in whether God is for us protecting us ,if we will
be safe and blessed in these hard times coming, or we will have some doubt and not know for sure that HE is indeed good and
HE is taking care of us. SEE the enemy's strategy!
Judgment is not necessarily
a "bad word." I do believe that Jesus is indeed walking among His people to see who HE can bless to carry His great
glory on the earth...those who are faithful and waiting for His appearing. In that sense,we welcome His judgment and cry Lord
here I am! ~Apostle Amy~
