On July 1, 2008
I was traveling to my Doctor’s office for an MRI on my broken foot. It was 45 minutes away from my home in Wilmington,
Ohio. I was on the highway, over 3/4 of way there, when the traffic ahead of me started slowing down. I could not see what
was going on in front of me due to a large vehicle in front of my car. As we inched along, I began to see smoke rising up
in the air straight ahead. Cars were turning around in a driveway to my left and going back the other way. After the big vehicle
right in front of me also turned, I saw why there was a slow down.
There was a 2 car, head on
collision directly ahead of me. Reports say that they were traveling 55 mph. One car was in a ditch on my right, and
the other across from it on the left. I stopped my car and a man ran up to me from the opposite side traffic, having stopped
a bit earlier. I rolled down the window. "I am a minister- is there anything I can do"? I asked the man. He said,
"Well -the lady over here is dead (on the right) and the other one (pointing to the left) is hurt bad." I put my
car in park and jumped out without any thought as to what I was doing. I went over to the crashed car on the left, were he
said the lady was dead. You could hardly tell it was a car- it was demolished. Crushed, smashed. Then I saw her.
The window was down and I
could see her blonde hair. Her head and neck was twisted as was her shoulders and arms in such an unnatural position. I felt
the spirit of death. There was no life. I knew she was gone. It was like viewing a body in a casket at the funeral home visitation.
You just feel, sense and know there is no life present. The spirit of God was upon me and out of the depths of my spirit
I cried out loudly, "In Jesus' name I bind the spirit of death and speak life to this woman! Life, come back in Jesus'
name! " I yelled this a few times...the man who had joined me at her car looked at me like I was crazy.
But as we stood there, suddenly as we watched, her spirit re-entered into her body. We saw her body "jump" as she
came back. I then ran over to the other side where the other lady was semi-conscious.
She was trapped under the steering
wheel and lay face down on her passenger seat. She too was twisted. I got down beside her after opening the car door further,
that had opened as a result of the powerful hit. I spoke to her the words that God gave me. I told her that The Lord
God said she will live. And that He was there with her and that His ministering angels
were surrounding her. She responded, "Ok....but it hurts so bad." I then spoke a prayer over her asking the Lord
to take the pain and touch her body in a special way. As I finished, sirens were heard. I told her to hold on, help was
here. She again responded in a weak voice..."yes, ok."
I went
back to the other woman, knowing that God had everything in control. I discerned a "God connection" from the
lady I had just prayed with. I later contacted her and found out that her husband was in ministry school and they
had a call on their lives.I knew that God was not finished with me yet. I knelt down on the pavement beside
the other woman's car and begin to fight for her life as the Lord instructed me. I cried out for the resurrection power and
life of Jesus! Through my voice, The Spirit began to intercede in heavenly language to save the life of this woman. Although
she was raised from the dead, there was still a fight to keep her here. I prayed (very loudly) for 1.5 hours. There were at
least 50 emergency personnel on the scene within a few minutes, but no one asked me to move or stop this strange prayer
that was not from this earth. They frantically worked at getting an IV into her and an airwayShe was alive! Both lungs
had been collapsed and she had broken almost every bone in her body except her back. But she was alive! Because God had a
plan for her life. I found out later after tracking her down (which included another miracle!) that she had borrowed the car
from her best friend and was on the way to a funeral. She has heavily addicted to drugs and she was not ready to meet God
that day. I cry when I think of His great grace and mercy that afternoon...HE is still in the business of miracles and
raising the dead...if only we will position ourselves to receive His greater works of His divine glory! Both ladies know that God
was there on the scene of the wreck and that Because of Him, they are alive today. The woman who died is making a good recovery as
her body is healing. The other, had a pin placed in her leg and is fine, working through physical therapy. Several emergency workers, friends and
the participants family know that this was a God given miracle that day in July. I spoke with the investigating
officer, who said... “there was a miracle there that day”...I laughed, “Let me tell ya…" To
God alone be all glory!
