Spending time With Love Himself

I believe the Lord is saying that we must be led by His Spirit more and more....HE is wanting us to function in our assignments by His Spirit of wisdom and understanding. This is part of the 7 Spirits of God that is more powerful and better revelation than working out of our gifts. The problem with working out of just the gifts is that it is more likely to be a mixture of our own experiences, our own minds get involved in what we are ministering. There is a better, higher way. This will only come and flow thru staying consistantly connected to the vine, Jesus, in intimacy with Him. There is nothing you will receive from Him that you are asking that will not be a direct response or impartation from being one with Him in intimacy. This is so key to the body moving forward into the greater glory HE has promised.
Time is short...and even if the return of Christ would not happen in our live time (just hear me), OUR time left , personally, is short. We will each stand before Him and give account of what we did with His callings and precious gift of His blood.We want to hear HIm say, well done my good and faithful servant, enter in to the joys of the Lord. BUT...we will not hear He say this if A. we have not done well ... B. We have not been faithful....C. we have not been servants.
One well known minister tells of a story of a trip to heaven after he had passed from life on earth. there were people standing in lines , one by one coming before the Lord. He could see some embraced and led into glory, and some being taken away to the torments of hell.(this was not meant to be a literal pattern, but a revelation of what is to be said next) He realized they were being asked one question , the same one, by the Lord Jesus. When he was close enough to hear what it was, it surprised him. The only thing that seemed to matter was the answer to this question: Did you learn to love?
The only way to learn to truly love is to stay in the presence of Love Himself, in intimacy. Out of this love, all other things flow easily. Tired of striving? Spend time with LOVE. Blessings~Amy
