There are only 3 levels. If you are already baptized in the Holy Spirit, then there is just one more level. The fullness. The Holy of Holies. The 3rd day, whatever you want to call it, it’s the place where we are possessed by God . The place where all things are done by His Spirit because we are done trying to earn our goodness and His righteousness. Christ in me, His hope of glory, being released on this earth. Saying and doing what we hear the Father say and do. Not I that lives (making the choices and decisions) but Jesus living through me in obedience to the Father.

If He isn't talking, I am not talking. He isn't moving, I am not moving. Knowing that I am free in this Lordship to Him, in my son ship. I will not be moved by what I hear or see, but by what I believe in response to His guidance. We know that Jesus gave it all and that we are the righteousness of God. What we know with our minds must become heart revelation.

Whether we know it or not, most of us are still trying to earn grace in some way. We just have a hard time truly believing that we do not have to be totally pure and holy to enter into His presence in the secret place. We are still trying to develop character and maturity in our own walk by ourselves- trying to become like Jesus. Striving, trying to purge ourselves, and totally dying to self before we feel that we can enter in. It becomes work, hard labor and feels like we are rabbits chasing a carrot on a stick. We may even take pride in how diligent we are to our hunger and pursuit.

But what are we pursuing? Didn't Jesus already rip the veil in two allowing us to come boldly into His presence? Didn't He give it all in order for us to be seated in heavenly places with Him? Why are we chasing and pursuing what we already have? Why are most of God's precious children still trying to come by the way of the temple of the old covenant when we are a blessed generation under a new priesthood? We are no longer part of the old; the old priesthood could only send one priest a year into His manifested presence. And it was so scary that the one chosen made out a will before he reluctantly entered.

Jesus went into the temple and offered Himself as the final blood sacrifice. He represented all of us as He walked in through the outer court, fulfilling its requirement to then move on into the holy place; in the holy place, He walked among the candlesticks and the oil and declared our works finished. Our righteousness complete. Our striving over! The mixture of the flesh and the Spirit, representing a progressive truth that dimensionally we could now pass through hand in hand with Jesus, and enter into the Holy of Holy. We are seated on the mercy seat with Him behind the veil, sprinkled with His blood sacrifice. We are declared clean. Good. Righteous. Holy, Pure. Covered 24/7.

Are we so afraid of gracethat we still have to strive to keep ourselves presentable to Him? Grace is so much more powerful than we give credit. When we miss the mark in some way, or we see ourselves lacking in some spiritual power, we tend to start the trip back into the temple all over again. This is a deception of the enemy to keep us chasing godliness and righteousness that we already have. We are chasing our spiritual tails!
We cry out for more of God...we hunger and thirst for righteousness-things we already have. We have all of Him in His fullness. We forget who and where we are. We start chasing the carrot again.
But, we say, I want more of Him! This must be a good thing to ask! Jesus looks sad and His heart aches because we only need to look inside us, for we are now the temple and He is waiting, longing for us to see Him sitting on the throne in our heart. The Kingdom is within. He is there. We are the temple. We are the tithe. We are the prayers. We have become all that the temple was and we are now carriers of His manifest glory and power. Seated on the mercy seat with our overcoming King. He overcame all things in our world, so we too have overcome. Jesus is righteousness, so we are righteousness. Jesus is holy and pure, so are we.                                                        This is the great exchange.

God will lovingly correct us and chasten us as any good father should. We are never finished growing and maturing in becoming more like the Son. God will work with us and change us. All we have to do is allow His Spirit to do this work and cooperate as we learn. We make it too hard.  We have to learn to freely receive so that we can freely give.

Now, today, we have all things that Jesus died to give us. Know this, believe this, accept this truth and do not get it mixed up with character maturing which is the Spirits work. We cannot change ourselves. We just need to submit and humble under the hand of God.

There is something deep within the mindsets that still has trouble just simply receiving Jesus' works as our own works. When we are so busy going in and out of the old temple (the lesser glory) that we miss the progressive truth that we are the temple in the new glory. From the old covenant glory to the new. Temples that are complete with no more need for sacrifices. We are the glory of God. He is within us. Glory in us that must be released. The whole earth shall be filled with His glory when we stop trying to get something we already have.

We don’t need another purging, We don’t need another season of regrets. Just become who we already are…Kings and priests of His presence. It is already with us all the time. He said He would never leave us or forsake us. It won’t be like an earthquake, it isn’t in the fire, it isn’t the wind. It is Him speaking in His still small voice. We want His presence in spectacular ways. That is why we aren’t content with the idea that that He is present  and manifesting  all the time. It’s our perspective that needs to change. Our awareness, Our mindsets.
So we chase the carrot thinking if we are just more spiritual, just more diligent in seeking Him, we will get more of Him. Earning our keep once again and incorrectly thinking we can earn our way into His amazing, awesome presence.

Perhaps what we truly are seeking from Him is to know Him experimentally. We desire God encounters, visitations  and to experience Him in ways we have only heard others tell of. These things are found in the intimacy and when we are truly desiring to know Him better because we love Him, He will show up. Stop reading the Bible to teach Him, and read it to know Him.Spend time alone with Him. Start out by acknowledging His presence is with you. Sometimes we talk too much instead of simply bringing ourselves and saying…here I am, Lord.

  • Be content in all godliness, realizing that you already have His manifest presence all the time, and stop trying to earn privileges and encounters with Him. Stop trying too hard. You will find yourself quietly drifting into His fullness and      His rest will be yours. AAF
